Are your queens and studs and kittens housed at your cattery?<
All our kittens, Studs and Queens are raised in our home underfoot with all the love and attention that is
necessary in producing a loveable well-socialized Bengal Kitten. We Do Not Cage
our Bengals and each both adult and kittens have seperate facilities that let them enjoy
their day to day experience with spacious open areas that are clean and sanitary and offer
lots of open natural sunlught as well as plenty of toys and cat play furniture. Daily playtime
and special attention is a priority at Hilltop and we
give each cat or kitten all the special attention they require to keep them
healthy and happy with an exceptional quality of life.
Where are the kittens raised?
Kittens are all raised within seperate rooms. Each queens has their own room just with tile floors and nothing but the queens living neccessities as well as toys and cat towers and ramps. These special separate nurseries are introduced to each queen three weeks before they are to give birth. This give them time to gradually get ready for the birth and guarantees as little to know contact with other cats to insure health and that they are not going to contact any illness so close to birth. The least amount of stress to a queen before giving birth the better chances their will be no issues with the litter . This is a very important step that is take with each queen. For the first six weeks each queen and her litter are kept in this special environment exclusively ensuring their health and safety and the queens feel comfortable kittens gain their confidence and sense fo themselves. The queen and her litter after their first set of shots are then introduced into our living environment where they are socialized daily with a regiment of fun and of course learning of their boundries. This developmental stage is important and this stage of socialization continues up until when kittens are ready to be placed at 12 weeks. We carefully monitor each litter as they grow and progress much like a new born baby would be look after.
